All participants of the XL Social Enterprise Accreditation Programme are bound by the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Representation: Participants may not present themselves as a Social Enterprise under the XL Social Enterprise Accreditation Programme (XL SEA Programme) until they have received a programme certificate and a registration number from XL Results Foundation. Once certified, participants may use the XL Social Enterprise Accreditation Programme logo and the term ‘Certified Social Enterprise’ in their literature, marketing material and signage. Wherever the logo or term ‘Certified Social Enterprise’ appears, the website address ‘www.worldwidewealth.org’ must also be displayed.
   
2. Application Process: Participants may apply for Social Enterprise status online at www.worldwidewealth.org or by completing the XL SEA Programme Application Form and faxing to (+65) 6323 1131.
   
3. Application Criteria: Social Enterprise status will be granted provided the participant completes an Application form in full and meets the following criteria:

a. Committed Contribution: The participant commits at least 10% of annual pre-tax profits to their Nominated Cause. Minimum contribution of US$1,000 for companies with a annual profit of less than US$10,000.
b. Nominated Cause: The participant appoints a registered NGO, Association or any Non-Profit Organisation to commit their contribution to.
c. Proof of Contribution: The participant encloses all the donation receipts to their nominated cause made within the calendar year prior to application submission.
d. Disclosure & Participation: The participant agrees to answer any enquiries or clarifications to XL regarding their contribution, and agrees to be included in the Social Enterprise rankings.
   
4. Renewal: Participants must renew their Social Enterprise status every year, and may only continue to present themselves as a Social Enterprise under the XL SEA Programme on the basis that their renewal is confirmed with the issuance of an annual certificate from XL Social Enterprise status will be renewed provided the participant meets the mentioned criteria of paragraph 3 and the participant completes their annual declaration form confirming that donations made equate to at least 10% of pre-tax profits, together with copies of donation receipts for the calendar year covered by the declaration.
   
5. Termination: In the event that a participant is notified in writing that their Social Enterprise status has been terminated, they must remove from their literature, marketing material and/or signage any and all XL Social Enterprise logos, the term ‘Certified Social Enterprise’ and the website address ‘www.worldwidewealth.org’ within 14 days of termination. XL reserves the rights to terminate a participant’s Social Enterprise status for the following reasons:

a. Failure to Meet Criteria: If a participant fails to meet the annual criteria and does not rectify this failure within a month.
b. Breach of Terms & Conditions: If a participant breaches any of the SEA Programme Terms and Conditions.
c. Lapse of Communication: If a participant cannot be contacted for over 30 days by XL for any enquiry or clarification, or if a participant fails to submit an annual declaration and does not respond to reminders.
d. Unethical, Immoral or Illegal Activity: If a participant is found to be involved in any unethical, immoral or illegal activity which in the view of the XL Board of Advisors will negatively affect the reputation of the XL SEA Programme or if the Nominated Cause is found to be an unethical, immoral aor illegal activity. In any such judgment, XL’s decision will be final.
e. Criminal or Bankruptcy Proceedings: If a participant faces criminal charges or enters bankruptcy proceedings, receivership or voluntary liquidation.
f. Voluntary Termination: If a participant notifies in writing that they wish to terminate their status.
   
6. Good Faith: XL will take on good faith the information supplied by participants in their application form and annual declaration. Participants commit that information provided is true and complete to the best of their knowledge and XL will take no responsibility and accept no liability for any inaccurate or incomplete information provided or subsequently published.
   
7. Liability: Participants will not present themselves as representatives or agents of XL, and XL will accept no responsibility or liability for the conduct or business activities or any participant. Participants will have no claim over XL for any errors or omissions made or for any decisions made and actions taken in the execution of the SEA programme.
   
8. Revisions: XL reserve the right to amend or add to these Terms and Conditions. Participants will be notified of any amendments or additions on the XL website.
