You can support as many organisations you want. However, for practical reasons we will ask you to nominate one Cause only (whether the one you feel closer to, you donate a higher amount to or you are more involved in).   What is required should I wish to nominate a different Cause? Just inform us on your Annual Declaration Form that you have changed your Nominated Cause. Provide us with the full name and the address of their website.   I make little cash donations, but rather in-kind contributions. Can I still be accredited to the SEA Programme? The SEA Programme wants to recognise any support and contribution to Non-Profit organisations. As such, the SEA Programme is recognising the in-kind contributions (such as material, food, advertisement/communications support, volunteering time and expertise, etc.). We request nevertheless the contribution to be acknowledged by your Nominated Cause and the estimation to be credible. Finally, to be accredited to the SEA Programme, you’ll have to demonstrate an overall contribution of over US$1,000.   Is my company considered a ‘social enterprise’ if from each treatment/invoice paid a set percentage goes to a specific organisation/charity/cause? A company is considered a ‘social enterprise’ if a percentage of its sales goes to a Nominated Cause. However at the end of the financial year, the overall annual donation needs to reach the minimum percentage of 10% of pre-tax profits.   I still have not received the SEA Programme certificate/welcome pack from you. Can you please have this sent to me? The SEA Programme welcome pack is being sent to the XL City Leaders along with your certificate to be handed out to you at your next XL local event (Momentum, Power Up). Get in touch with your XL City Leader to check if they have received it.   Does the 10% of pre-tax profit go with the company’s financial year? For example our financial year end is July? As contributions are based on pre-tax profits made by your company, it is easier to make the 10% calculation on profits made in the Financial year. Since the SEA certificate is valid for one calendar year, it does not matter if you close your financial year on July or December.   Can I choose any organisation as my Nominated Cause? Or do I have to choose from a list? You can choose whichever non-profit organisation you want to support.
