All participating companies receive numerous benefits for joining and remaining in the SEA Programme.
Stakeholder Recognition
All participating Social Enterprises can display the XL Social Enterprise logo in their materials, literature and outlets, enabling customers, partners, staff and shareholders to recognise the company as a Certified Social Enterprise. This is the first such globally available accreditation, bringing companies, non-profits and customers together in one concerted programme.

Welcome Pack
The SEA Programme Welcome Pack provides you with the tools you need to leverage your SEA membership. The pack includes:
Steps to align your company with your Nominated Cause
Support Material
SEA logo design layouts
Annual declaration form

XL Media
Participating Social Enterprises will be included in on-line XL Media articles and interviews based on their level of annual contribution to their Nominated Cause. The top Social Enterprises will be recognised annually.

Ongoing Support
Ongoing support will be provided to participants in the SEA Programme through regular updates, conference calls and an annual summit, exclusive to SEA accredited companies.

Achieving the Billion Dollar Challenge
By joining the SEA programme you are taking concrete action to make a difference in the lives of others and the environment. This programme is part of the Billion Dollar Challenge – a global initiative to track the annual earnings and contributions of Social Enterprises towards World Wide Wealth. The target is towards collective earnings of US$1 Billion with US$100 Million going to non-profits each year by 2020.

Non-Profit Contribution Ranking
As each Social Enterprise will have a nominated registered Non-Profit Organisation to which they will be donating a percentage of profits, the programme will also allow to create a global ranking of Non-Profits, based on the number of enterprises supporting each organisation and the total annual amounts donated to each. Your Nominated Cause will therefore enjoy visibility on a global scale. Visit the citi ranking to view the rankings for SEA participants in your city.

No Charge to Participate
XL Results Foundation has committed to underwrite the management and monitoring cost of the entire programme. Corporate sponsorship and advertising in XL Media on-line and at XL Events will support this commitment. As a result, participating in the XL Social Enterprise Accreditation Programme is free of charge. Companies must, however, donate a minimum of US$1,000 per year to their Nominated Cause qualify and remain in the programme (even in loss making years).

Future initiatives (including access to financing, structured coaching, effective routes to market and access to international opportunities and resources) will increase further the benefits of participation.
